While other bloggers’ flowers are frozen or emerging out of frost, ours are sweltering in Adelaide. Buds bloom and fade very fast so I have to catch them early in the day .

They are named trigger plants because of their response to insects landing for pollen. A part of the plant shoots forward and slaps pollen on the back or legs of the insects.
