Renmark Irrigation Trust‘s front doors, for Dan’s challenge.

Renmark is on the River Murray and many local producers and growers use irrigation to water their crops, including citrus, grape vines and almonds.

The stately building has maintained the original 1893 doors.
Good that they retained the doors and have kept them in good shape too.

Yes. Luckily the flood waters never get that high, because it’s across the road from the river.

Excellent photo and door. I love the refined look to the building’s linrd and its sturdy stone facade. It is great that the door has been retained.

Thanks, Suzette, I was proud of them, too. I’m sure it isn’t easy. I should have found out if the stone was sandstone or limestone – prevalent in South Australia.

What a lovely building, looking very South Australian. And the bluest of skies.

What’s more surprising is that the floods never touch it – and it’s across the road from the river.
