For Cee’s FOTD I used my lemon Myrtle and my iPhone and Canon Powershot, to look closely.

I had intended it for the macro challenge, but didn’t complete it in time.

That was a month ago and it’s sprouting new shoots, now, but I thought “it’s never too late to finish a draft”.

I wonder if you can tell which photos are from my phone or camera?
Wonderful photos, no matter which camera. Although the one you said was your Canon I knew it was your camera even before I read your caption 😀

The Canon shots are the bookends. They gave such a different colour.

They’re the bookends. They gave a completely different colour and I rarely edit, so what you see …

The camera picks up more than the eye sees, especially when we don’t have 20 20 vision. I don’t.

Having said that, when I resize to save space , the photo often blurs.

Yes, same here. The pixels per centimetre reduces and so the image blurs. In the early days when sizing images 1400 pixels per inch produced a fair image. The image was 1″ sq. With 1400 pixels. Imaging programmes were more finally tuned. My current one won’t allow the alteration of pixels and size together.
