Moon walk

When my husband told me we were expecting a lunar eclipse, it seemed like a perfect reason to walk after dinner and contribute to Becky’s squares this month.

A big test for any phone camera, my new one got little action until we returned.

Just rising above neighbours’ houses

The atmospheric conditions gave us a huge starter, with just that bottom section eclipsed.

By the time it rose high enough for me to see it again, nearly half was in shadow.

Peering through foliage, as it rose ever higher, only a cap remained.

And then, the header photo with no sunlight on it at all.
