That’s actually the name of my entry in Cee’s FOTD, today. It’s an osteospermum ecklonis, or African Daisy, but I was brought up short by its unusual petals.

I’ve only seen them this once, and it’s in a pot to be sold, so certainly not common in local gardens.
Yet.
