I’m not sure if they’re called flowers, blossoms, blooms or what, but for Cee’s FOTD I have these eucalypt specimens.

Forming from the nut, they have no petals and commonly cluster for a magnificent display.

Most of the flowering gums in my area are pink, red or white, so this one, 1000km away, caught my eye. There are over 700 species of eucalypt, native to Australia but growing well in similar conditions around the world.

I am not sure since I have ne er seen the flower of an Australian Fig. There are some in Centennial Park which we have eaten and lived.
