I think they say a lot about the time in which they are built. Tasmania was predominantly settled by convicts and is home to one of the world’s most notorious penal settlements. And yet, so many churches.

Cool church. I’m not a particularly religious person, but I always liked visiting churches back in England. Thy were cool, calm, and almost always had something of interest in them.
