This month the life in colour challenge is to find and post things, purple. So I went for a walk in my house, my yard and a trip into the city. But it began with the start of the day

  Thanks, Graham. Yes,an unexpected amount of colour for this time of year, it’s something I’d expect in Summer but it did herald some warmth in the day, so I won twice.

Excellent! That sunrise is stunning. And the pinky-purple kangaroo is lovely.

  Thanks, Jude. Their natural colour is quite nice, of course, but this painted one and its mates were very cheery.
