I gotta tell you, it’s a wild west town. There are stories about people accusing others of jumping their claim, and looking at miners to see if they’ve had a breakthrough. I’m not sure if this wasn’t /isn’t possible!

Jumping claims seems to be a common theme in mining towns. Guess you needed to be tough to be there in the first place!
