There are so many poppies from Cee and Bob, that I had to photograph these from the Ballarat Botanical Gardens, for Cee’s FOTD.
I meant orange, yellow, white.

I confess, some of my poppies are of a type sometimes called ‘tulip’ poppies because they resemble the bright red dutch flowers with deep ‘cups’.
It works in reverse it would seem, as i believe these beautiful flowers are actually tulips! 🙂
(Generally poppies only have 4 petals.) 🙂

You are right, of course. Someone in the fernery said they were poppies and I questioned it, but kept the error. I did photograph poppies, so I’ll need to change the header or the image. Thank you 🙂

You can’t trust anyone these days! – even Google will give you pictures of tulips when you search for poppies – and vice versa!! 😉
