The shot from Kakadu is perfect for “spiky”. I recall signs everywhere in Kakadu and NT warning about crocs. A great place to visit though. Hopefully a 5th trip there at some stage.

Wow! I’ve only been the once and plan to go after the rains some time, as it was pretty dry for the long drive in. I think I preferred Litchfield, for accessibility and options. I’ll just have t go back and decide.

The South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute. An amazing building inside and out , less than 5 years old and worth a tour if you book months ahead

Ooh thanks for the heads up. I’ve just googled it, and found a couple of the inside. Looks amazing, and the tours must be fascinating given the work they do.
