The paper bark tree has many different blossoms and some are classic bottle brush, while these look quite different.

I took some of the bottle type at Mt Lalwley Golf Course about 5km from Wembley. I’m going to have to go and see it i can see those in real life. 😉

They’re lining the verges of the streets. Amazing what a walk in the suburbs can uncover.

Our council is doing the tree planting thing. They are mainly young Peppermint and Red Bottlebrush. Last year i was delighted to find they had done a verge in pink and white paper daisy’s (Everlastings) on a walk. 🙂
