I think the full common name is silver and gold paper daisy. Possibly called that because it is an everlasting and has a papery feel. I found this one in Morialta Conservation Park.

I’ve never seen one of these before. It’s quite spectacular. Van Gogh would have loved this.

So, I had to look up a range of Van Gogh’s paintings after that – rather fond of yellow, I see. At certain times of the day, the bush could even look blue and he’d have his top two!
