The Aussie hibiscus are beautiful flowers and you’ve caught this one and the blue one beautifully! 🙂
… and it’s Carnarvon by the way! 😉

Oops, thanks for that. Sloppy of me indeed and not deserved by such a famous spot.

I’ve lived in WA for almost 50 years… still never been up to Carnarvon! I probably should. 😉

There’s a lot of competition nearby, with Shark Bay and Coral Bay, but I’d give the former a miss and do Carnarvon and Coral. You have so many choices in WA and some keep calling you back for more. Carnarvon is a quiet spot but with a good variety of things to do. We only planned a drive through, so we’ll be back for what we missed – blowholes, space station, etc.

I did actually make it to Denham in Shark Bay… AND fed the dolphins there. Also saw the world’s oldest life form _ the Stromatalites in Shark Bay.
I was not game to swim there though. 😉
Given my interest in Astronomy i really should visit the Space Centre one day! Thanks for the tips! 🙂
