South Australia has the Sturt Desert Pea as it’s floral emblem. It is commonly found in the desert (as the name hints) between SA and NT – in the Red Centre. I have tried for years to grow it, transplant it, or catch it on a camera and last year I managed to get a decent photo in Karratha, far north west WA, of all places.
So, my photo challenge this week is the waxy, almost seductive emblem.
Good one. You’ve done it!
